The "Trends in Scholarly Publishing" journal, a peer-reviewed and open-access publication dedicated to serving the scholarly publishing community, is pleased to announce a call for papers for its upcoming special issue titled "Use of AI in Scholarly Publishing." This special issue explores the dynamic and rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming scholarly publishing practices, workflows, and the broader landscape of academic communication.Scope of the Special Issue
This special issue seeks to cover a wide range of topics related to the integration, challenges, opportunities, and future prospects of AI in scholarly publishing. We welcome original research, case studies, review articles, and opinion pieces that address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- AI-driven innovations in manuscript editing, peer review, and publishing workflows.
- The impact of AI on the quality, efficiency, and transparency of the scholarly publishing process.

Submissions should adhere to the journal's submission guidelines, which are available on the journal’s website. Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not currently under review by other publications. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer review to ensure relevance and quality.
