Repository Policy
At Trends in Scholarly Publishing (TSP), we are committed to the widest possible dissemination and preservation of scholarly content. To support discoverability and long-term accessibility, TSP allows and encourages the deposit of published articles in recognized repositories.
Institutional and Subject Repositories
Authors may deposit the accepted version (postprint) and/or the published version (Version of Record) of their articles in:
- Institutional repositories,
- Subject-specific repositories (e.g., Open Science Framework, SocArXiv),
- National or international open access repositories.
Indexing and Harvesting
TSP content is open to indexing and harvesting by academic databases and repositories through standard protocols (such as OAI-PMH). Metadata and DOIs are deposited with Crossref to ensure interoperability and discoverability.
Licensing and Attribution
All repository deposits must include:
- The article's DOI and full citation details (journal name, volume, issue, page numbers).
- A statement that the Version of Record is available at the official TSP website.
- Acknowledgment of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), under which all TSP articles are published.
Compatibility with Archiving
In addition to repository deposits, all published content is preserved in PORTICO as part of TSP's long-term archiving strategy.
